Pamir Kyrgyz from the Shoor village of Afghanistan ask the Government of Kyrgyzstan to render aid in developing education and health care spheres of the Big Pamir region, the National Agency Cabar reports.

Deputy of the Council of the Afghan Republic Turdakun Pamiri told that more than 420 Kyrgyz families live in Big Pamir now, this is about 4 thousand Kyrgyzes.

The aim of the Afghan delegation is establishing contacts with the Kyrgyz government because at present, there are two schools only in the Shoor village, where children under 8-12 onlyy can study , in order to continue their education they need more manuals, textbooks and other equipment.

Turdakun Pamiri told journalists the health care problems are critical too, new-born death-rate is increasing every day because of short of highly skilled doctors.

“We hope that the Kyrgyz Government will assist Kyrgyz people living in Afghanistan”, - Turdakun Pamiri said.
