The base is spartan at best, no threat to either Russia or China, and at the moment at least, gives Kyrgyzstan some much needed cash. It serves to support efforts in Afghanistan. If you feel the US shouldn't be helping fight the Taliban, then by all means - protest the base and kick the US out. If you feel the small US presence in Kyrgyzstan is a terrible detriment to the country, then also protest and kick the US out. By the way, Ataman Rakin - Kyrgyzstan was a mess long before the US showed up. If anything, US presence there has helped the country gain more international attention for its problems.
