Bakyt Beshimov, the Vice-President on Academic Affairs of American University - Central Asia has launched his personal blog in Russian language, though there he also posts quite a lot posts in English. He mainly writes on Kyrgyz history, history of nomadic civilization, management of higher education, politicians and state officials, business and economic, Kyrgyzstan’s foreign policy, civil society development and youth problems. He is very patriotic about Kyrgyzstan and has already published a series of analytical articles on country’s development and its future perspectives. Recently he joined the Social Democratic Party along with Edil Baisalov, a young liberal activist.

It is a good sign that now famous managers, political figures, and activists have started blogging, thus communicating with public and gettting each other voices heard. I contacted professor Beshimov and asked him to give an interview to Neweurasia. He agreed, and hopefully next week it will be posted. So, please, if anyone has questions to him, contact me and you will get answers to your questions.
