Sad news. Alisher Saipov, a famous journalist based in Osh city, southern Kyrgyzstan, is killed! He was shot three times from a gun, either a pistol or submachine gun. According to Ferghana.ru News Agency, where Alisher Saipov had worked for many year, the murder happened today, October 24, at about 19:30 next to the communal services center (Dom Byta) of Osh city. Alisher Saipov also worked with such online news sources as Voice of America, Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty and Uznews.net. Police has already launched an investigation. Stay tuned for updates.
