This is just a short addition to what guys were writing and talking about on Kyrgyz language blog. Indeed, Kyrgyz militia has been a serious issue which needs to be resolved on the state level. On 28th of June the youth of Issyk-Kul region intends to organize a protest against Kyrgyz militia’s actions. The protests will be also supported by local inhabitants who say that militia workers have gone too far in their actions. The case when Issyk-Kul young people who were in small scale business were beaten up by militia workers of Bosteri village pushed the youth to protest. Lately there have been so many talks on militia’s disorder that leads to negative perception and chaotic functioning of the law enforcement authorities. People pretty often come across some militia’s misbehavior, bribery, abuse of power and etc. People stop trusting militia…
