This is a translation of Mirsulzhan’s post, who is reporting directly from the protests in Bishkek.

“If Bakiyev does not answer the requirements of the protesters’ demands, there will be unrest in the city…”, said two young girls on the square, who came from Kara-Balty. One of them added that a deputy (of something she didn’t know) has promised to pay them 1.000 soms each for a day of the protests (about 27 dollars).

“My wife has died, I was drinking yesterday, and came here today…”, said another participant of the meeting, who looks like a homeless person. He also said that it is not only Bakiev’s fault, but all the protesters’. Why is he here then?

Former Ministry of Internal Affairs policemen camed to the square, followed by young people, probably from sports schools, they all swear and don’t let people take their photos.
