If only to relay rumors laid upon rumors... I've met a few people who believe that the serial killer is a government invention to get people's mind off the recent political activity. Seems a bit heavy-handed on either end, for both the govt and those who believe and circulate such notions.

The killer has recently been caught, but rumors fly that this is the work of a 'gang of four' - thus the multiple possible likenesses? TV reports also didn't show any footage of the apprehended killer, so there are plenty of doubters.
